The Optoelectronics and Communications Conference (OECC) is intended to provide an international forum for the presentation and the discussion of significant progress of research, development and applications of optical communication systems and optoelectronics. The conference will also offer tutorials, and other relevant events, and will particularly give opportunities to have interaction among participants from the ongoing Asian Pacific and Oceanian areas. The 12th conference (OECC 2007) will be jointly held with the 16th International Conference on Integrated Optics and Optical Fiber Communication (IOOC) on July 9–13, 2007 at Pacifico Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan.
