The 2007 IEEE International Symposium on Power–Line Communications and Its Applications (ISPLC 2007) will be held in Pisa, Italy from March 26–28, 2007. This is the 11th Annual ISPLC Meeting, now fully organized and operated under the auspices of the IEEE Communication Society.
The symposium is centered on the general problem of communication over power lines. It focuses on the latest technological advances in power line communications, as well as on current and future applications of power line communication systems. The goal of the Symposium is to bring together academia, industry, and standardization organizations to stimulate research, development, and commercialization of all aspects of power line communications technology. The 2007 ISPLC is technically co–sponsored with the IEEE Communications Society, by the IEEE Power Engineering Society and the Italian Electric, Electronic and Communication Engineer Federation (AEIT).
Keywords: • Channel Measurements and Modeling
• Standards and Regulations
• Electromagnetic Compatibility
• Information and Communication Theory
• Modulation and Coding Techniques
• Multicarrier, OFDM and Spread Spectrum Techniques
• Detection and Iterative Processing Techniques
• Security
• AMR and Utility Applications
• Multimedia Transmission and Signal Processing
• Multiple–Access Techniques
• Modem and LSI Design
• Networks and Protocols
• System Architectures
• Applications and Services
• Experimental Systems and Field Trials
• Co–existence and interoperability
• PLC Command and Control
