EuroSys 2008 is organized by EuroSys, the European Chapter of SIGOPS, sponsored by ACM SIGOPS, in cooperation with the British Computer Society (BCS). EuroSys welcomes submissions and attendance from all over the world and aims to bring together researchers from different areas of computer systems, who are otherwise spread over multiple conferences.
As a result, EuroSys 2008 will follow the pattern established by the previous EuroSys Conferences, in 2006 and 2007, by seeking papers on all aspects of computer systems. EuroSys 2008 will also include a number of workshops to allow junior and senior members of the systems community to explore leading–edge topics and ideas before they are presented at a conference. Keywords: All areas of operating systems and distributed systems
Systems aspects of:
Continuous media ; Databases ; Dependable Computing ; Distributed Computing ; Local and distributed storage ; Management, measurement, monitoring ; Mobile and pervasive computing ; Novel uses of information technology ; Novel user interfaces ; Parallel and concurrent computing ; Programming language support ; Real–time and embedded computing ; Security ; Sensor nets and tiny devices
Experience with existing systems
Reproduction or refutation of previous results
Negative results
Early ideas
