Abstract

Evolving from a french speaking conference on computer sciences in its early stage, RIVF has become a major scientific event for researchers in the field of Computing and Communications Technologies, not only in Vietnam but also worldwide. The previous edition, RIVF′07, held in Hanoi, had received submissions coming from 23 countries across all the continents. This sixth edition is hosted by the University of Natural Sciences of Vietnam National University at Ho Chi Minh City, and is sponsored in the first time by the newly established IEEE Vietnam Section and technically co–sponsored by IEEE Region 10 and IEEE Communication Society. RIVF′08 continues to offer an opportunity for researchers and innovators to discuss problems, share results, identify emerging issues, and establish academic collaborations in various disciplines of computing and communications.
