The aim of the First International Conference on LiDAR Technology and Applications (LiDAR 2009), which will be held in China from 5 to 8 January 2009, is to provide a platform for academics and engineers in LiDAR technology and application areas to meet, exchange ideas, and establish professional networks. It is a forum to focus on specific disciplinary research, as well as on multi–disciplinary studies. The uniqueness of LiDAR is that it crosses narrowly defined subject areas and gathers researchers from not only technical areas, but also from areas which use the technology.

Keywords:

<P style=″LINE–HEIGHT: 200%″>Data Acquisition

<P style=″LINE–HEIGHT: 200%″>Modelling

<P style=″LINE–HEIGHT: 200%″>Integration

<P style=″LINE–HEIGHT: 200%″>Data Processing

<P style=″LINE–HEIGHT: 200%″>Image Processing

<P style=″LINE–HEIGHT: 200%″>Data Management

<P style=″LINE–HEIGHT: 200%″>New Technology & Trends
