This bi–annual event held on alternate years in collaboration with its sister event in the USA – <A href="http://www.aeromechanisms.com/">The Aerospace Mechanisms Symposium</A> – the European Space Mechanisms and Tribology Symposium, ESMATS, regularly attracts around 200 space mechanism designers and engineers, space scientists and satellite project and programme managers from around the world. <A href="http://www.esmats.eu/liverpool/index.php">ESMATS 2007</A> in Liverpool, England, attracted delegates from most of the countries of Europe, The United States, Japan, China, India, Brazil, Australia and Canada to name but a few. It will be the first time in its history since the ESMATS was originally held in Neuchatel, Switzerland in 1983 that this prestigious 3–day symposium will be held in Austria, where it is being hosted in the city of Vienna, organised by Austrian Aerospace. <BR><BR>As with previous years ESTL will be holding their <A href="http://www.esmats.eu/index.php?whichPage=estltribologyco… Tribology Course</A> (STC) at the same location on the 2 days prior to ESMATS. Delegates will be able to book both events through this web site with a single booking when it opens for registration in March 2009.
