IEEE CASE represents the flagship automation conference of the IEEE Robotics<br>and Automation Society. The conference aims to bring together researchers in automation<br>from both industry and academia, together with industrial practitioners, to present and<br>discuss the latest advances and developments in automation science and engineering.<br>The 2012 edition of IEEE CASE will place special emphasis on the themes of Automation<br>in Semiconductor/Display Manufacturing, Low Carbon Green Technology and Automation,<br>Automotive Manufacturing, Automation in Service Industries, and Automation in Heavy<br>Industries, in addition to the traditional coverage of the latest advances in the Foundations<br>of Automation, Automation at the Meso–, Micro–, and Nano–Scales, Information<br>Automation, Automation in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences and<br>Health Care, and Networked and Control Systems.<br>
