Abstract

The 15h IASTED International Conference on Computers and Advanced Technology in Education (CATE 2012) will act as a major forum for the presentation of innovative ideas, approaches, developments, and research projects in the area of technology&#8211;based education&#046; It will also serve to facilitate the exchange of information between researchers, faculty, administrators, and practitioners&#046; All papers submitted to this conference will be double&#8211;blind peer reviewed by at least two members of the International Program Committee and related technical committees&#046; Acceptance will be based primarily on originality, significance, technical soundness, presentation, and references&#046; The conference chair makes the final decision on the acceptance or rejection of the paper&#046;<br>The topics of interest to be covered by CATE 2012 include, but are not limited to: <ul><li>Advanced Educational Software and Hardware </li><li>Advanced Technology in Education and Training </li><li>Policies on Technology&#8211;based Education </li><li>Advanced Technology and Human Resource Issues </li><li>Institutional Issues on Technology&#8211;based Education and Training </li><li>Technology&#8211;based Blended, Distance and Open Education </li></ul><br>
