The ICSTCC conference emerged from the fusion of the three conferences that were separately organized by the University of Craiova, Faculty of Automation, Computers and Electronics, the "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iasi, Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Engineering, and the "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, Faculty of Control Systems, Computers, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Since 2010, all the editions of ICSTCC have been technically co–sponsored by IEEE Control Systems Society.
