The JAMAICA workshop intends to foster the discussion on the current practices for automated and model–based testing activities among academia and industry. This should show the community what impact these activities may have on the overall cost/quality trade–off and on the development cycle. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following: * Model–based testing (MBT) * Automatic testing in model–driven engineering & component–based development * Test automation or MBT in agile development * Automatic or model–based testing for service–oriented & agent–oriented methodologies * Testing Tools and Open source platforms enabling test automation * Strategies, methodologies and techniques for automatic generation and execution of test cases * Quality measures for test generation, especially in safety critical systems * Standards and accreditation related to test automation * Cloud computing platforms for enabling test execution in distributed environments, and testing of distributed systems * Domain Specific Languages and solutions for test automation and MBT * Success– or failure–stories about practical experiences and issues in the development, operation and maintenance of industrial testing environment
