Abstract

<p>The <strong>28th International Conference on VLSI Design</strong> and <strong>14th International Conference on Embedded Systems</strong> will be held during <span data&#8211;term="goog_827724258" tabindex="0"><strong>January 3&#8211;7, 2015 </strong></span><strong>at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India</strong>&#046; The theme for the conference this year is <strong>“IoT – Building a Smart Connected world”</strong>&#046; This 5 day conference comprises of : Tutorials during the first two days, followed by 3 days of conference&#046; <strong>RASDAT&#8211;2015</strong> will be organized in concurrence with the last 2 days of the conference&#046; </p> <p><strong>Internet of Things (IoT)</strong> is on the verge of transforming every aspect of everyday life &#8211; a paradigm shift in how we interact with the environment and amongst each other&#046; IoT centric solutions can transform India completely, primarily in the domains that are main stay of existence &#8211; <strong>Agriculture, Security, Healthcare, Energy, Education</strong> to name a few&#046; IoT in combination with sensors and wearables herald enormous opportunities for fundamental research in chip design, system engineering, new materials, sensors, communication, embedded software and various allied fields&#046; The conference will see and hear experts from various industries engage in discussion on the diverse aspects of IoT, opportunities for India and about its transformational impact on “Building a Smart Connected World”&#046; </p> <p>This conference is an unique international platform that&#8242;s a confluence of all stake holders of the ecosystem &#8211; <strong>Industry, Academia, Researchers, Innovators, Regulators</strong>, coming together to present and discuss current topics in <strong>VLSI Design, Electronic Design Automation, Electronic System Design and Enabling Technologies</strong>, in the form of &#8211; Industry presentation sessions along with exhibits, panel discussions, Design Contest and user forum &#046;<br></p><p><br></p>
