Abstract

With the quick increase of software and system complexity and scale, test automation is an emerging and effective solution in software quality assurance to meet tight project schedules with quality&#046; Today, with the advance of cloud computing, mobile computing and big data, there are many issues, challenges, solutions, and needs in software test automation&#046; More research work is needed to study and develop innovative test models, methods and services, multi&#8211;tenanted test management and operations, on&#8211;demand test automation tools and platforms, and test&#8211;as&#8211;you&#8211;go billing&#046; This workshop is set up to meet these emerging needs&#046;<br>This workshop is intended to provide a new platform for researchers and practitioners to exchange new ideas and share state&#8211;of&#8211;the&#8211;art research results and solutions in Test Automation &amp;&amp; generation, Mobile testing, TaaS (Testing&#8211;as&#8211;a&#8211;service) and other novel test automation techniques&#046; We invite original papers from both academia and industry on, but not limited to, the following topics:<br>Large&#8211;scale test automation<br>Big data test and automation<br>Cloud testing and test automation<br>Security testing and automation<br>Mobile testing and Mobile TaaS<br>Web application testing<br>Internet of things testing<br>Intelligent system testing<br>Wearable system testing<br>Embedded system testing<br>Wireless sensor testing<br>Testing service and automation<br>Big data system testing and automation<br>Large&#8211;scale combinatorial testing<br>Software validation and automation<br>Test Metrics, measurements, and analysis<br>QoS models and evaluation metric<br>Test model, techniques and methods<br>Test frameworks, environments, platforms and tools<br>Test management, economics, and test billing model<br>Experiments, empirical studies and experience reports for test automation<br>Identification of problems and visions of the future for test automation<br>
