Abstract

<br>LASCAS is the international symposium and flagship event of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society in Latin America&#046; Its eighth edition will take place in Bariloche, Argentina&#046; San Carlos de Bariloche, usually known as Bariloche, is a city in the province of Río Negro, Argentina, situated in the foothills of the Andes on the southern shores of Nahuel Huapi Lake&#046; It is located within the Nahuel Huapi National Park and it a main tourist destination&#046; After extensive public works and Alpine&#8211;styled architecture, the city emerged in the 1930s as a major tourism centre with skiing, trekking and mountaineering facilities&#046; In addition, it has numerous restaurants, cafés, and chocolate shops&#046; The city has a permanent population of about 130,000&#046; Besides tourism and related services, Bariloche is home of advanced scientific and technological activities&#046; The Centro Atómico Bariloche is a research center of the National Atomic Energy Commission&#046; The city also hosts INVAP, a high&#8211;technology company that designs and builds nuclear reactors, state&#8211;of&#8211;the&#8211;art radars and space satellites, among other projects&#046;<br>The symposium will cover technical novelties and tutorial overviews on circuits and systems topics including but not limited to:<br>Analog and Digital Circuits<br>Mixed&#8211;Mode Circuits<br>Biomedical Electronics<br>Communication/RF Circuits<br>Wireless Sensor Networks<br>Nanoelectronics<br>Electronic Design Automation<br>VLSI Systems and Applications<br>FPGA Design and Applications<br>Circuit Testing<br>Fault Tolerant Circuits<br>Circuits and Systems for Space and Nuclear Applications<br>
