Abstract

This special session deals with the problem of the autonomous vehicles&#046; Indeed, to conclude the automated driving concept, autonomous vehicle systems require multiple sensors (sometimes redundant) to guarantee the aforementioned requirements&#046; A sensor could abruptly fail or operate outside its specified operating conditions (traffic spray, fog, rain, dirt on the cover&#046;&#046;&#046;) and classical fusion of sensors does not work well with a failed sensor&#046;<br>The goal is to propose controlling schemes which must be robust and continue to perform adequately in the presence of these faults, are called fault&#8211;tolerant control (FTC) schemes&#046;<br>The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:<br>&#8211; Robust control for autonomous vehicle<br>&#8211; Active and passive fault tolerant control<br>&#8211; Fault Detection and Isolation<br>&#8211; Observer and diagnosis<br>
