Abstract
In view of developing the field of metadata, digital libraries, ontology and semantics research, MTSR’17 aims to host a Doctoral Consortium Workshop that brings together PhD students, professors and academics from the fields of library and information science and computer science. The aim of the workshop is to offer a closed forum for PhD students to present their ideas to experienced professors in the field and gain professional exposure, critique and feedback on their topics, methodologies, preliminary and future plans.<br>
