The regular tracks are: regular research track, regular applications track, and short paper track. These tracks are similar to previous BigData Congress submission tracks. The regular research track will emphasize both theoretical and experimental research contributions. The regular applications track will pay special attention to insights derived from real world big data applications, particularly with respect to experience reports and evaluation results. Accordingly, these broadly defined contributions will be evaluated by PC members with special interest and expertise in each phase of the research lifecycle: vision papers, research contributions, applications and experiences, and enabling resources that include data sets, benchmarks, and surveys. The two special tracks included for BigData Congress 2019 are: Real–Time Big Data Analytics, and Big Data/Smart Cities.
