Abstract

The purpose of WINSYS, the International Conference on Wireless Networks and Mobile Systems, is to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested on information systems and applications in the context of wireless networks and mobile technologies. Information systems and information technology are pervasive in the whole communications field, which is quite vast, encompassing a large number of research topics and applications: from practical issues to the more abstract theoretical aspects of communication; from low level protocols to high–level networking and applications; from wireless networking technologies to mobile information systems; many other topics are included in the scope of WINSYS.
Conference Topics:
Area 1: Sensor Networks and Ad Hoc Communications
– Ad Hoc Networks of Autonomous Intelligent Systems
– Autonomic Networking
– Vehicular Networks
– Body Area Networks and e–Health
– Hybrid Wireless Communication Systems
– Localization and Positioning Schemes
– Measurements and Experimental Research
– Mobile Ad Hoc Networks and Multi–Hop Wireless
– Modeling, Algorithms, and Performance Evaluation
– Ultra–Wideband and Short–Range Networks
– Coverage, Connectivity and Deployment Issues
Area 2: Wireless and Mobile Technologies
– Cognitive Radio and Software Defined Networks
– Cooperative Mobile Systems
– Wireless Multimedia
– Wireless Internet Communication Challenges
– Next Generation Mobile Networks
– MIMO Systems and Techniques
– Performance Analysis of Wireless Networks
– QoE management in Wireless Multimedia Networks
– Detection, Decoding and Diversity Techniques
– Routing Protocols, Qos, Scheduling and Congestion Control
– Dynamic Spectrum Policies
– Antennas and Propagation, Channel Modelling and Estimation
– WIMAX, LTE, LTE–A and LTE–B
– Cloud Computing and Networking
– Tactile Internet
– Communication Theory and Signal Processing
– Data Storage
– Green communications
– Satellites Communications
Area 3: Mobile Software and Services
– Internet of Things
– Mobile Social Networks and Crowdsourcing
– Location–based Applications and Services
– Smart Cities
– Information Security Policy for Wireless Networks
– Multimedia and QoS over Wireless Networks
– Self–Organizing Networks
– Ubiquitous Wireless Services and Protocols
– Wireless Application Areas
– Radio Resource Management
– Peer–to–Peer Computing and Networking
