Abstract

Since 1998 CSNDSP has now been recognised as a forum for the exchange of ideas among engineers, scientists and young researchers from all over the world on advances in communication systems, communications networks, digital signal processing and other related areas and to provide a focus for future research and developments. CSNDSP 2020 is organized by Instituto de Telecomunicações a research institute in Portugal. The local organising committee invites you to submit original high quality papers addressing research topics of interest for presentation at the CSNDSP 2020, which will be held at the beautiful city of Porto. As in previous events CSNDSP 2020 will also be hosting dedicated colloquiums and a number of special sessions on selected topics that you may wish to submit papers.  Colloquiums  Optical Wireless Communications (OWC)  Integrated Microwave Photonics (IMWP)  Communication Networks Optimization (CNO)  Optical Fiber Devices and Sensing Applications (OFD)  Special Sessions  SS1: Intelligent Transportation Systems  SS2: Advanced Techniques for Connected and Automated Vehicles  SS3: Emerging Trends and Approaches to Cyber Security  SS4: Fundamentals of Machine Learning and Applications to Biomedical Signal Processing  SS5: Green Communications and Emerging Networks  SS6: Recent Advances in Flying Ad-Hoc Networks  SS7: Satellite and Space Communications Papers are solicited from, but not limited to the following topics: Communications Systems & Theory Adaptive modelling Antennae Chip design for communications Coding theory & techniques Communications for disaster management Modulation/Demodulation Fading channels Filtering techniques Radio/microwave/millimetre wave comms. Noise reduction Synchronization Transmission diversity Satellite & space communications Photonics Free space optics Optical wireless communications High-speed devices for photonics Optical buffering Optical fibre communications Optical MEMS for lightwave networks Optical routing/Photonic networks Optical signal processing Optical switching Radio over fibre & FSO DSP Adaptive signal processing Digital & multirate signal processing
